I have taught at Trentham Academy for 11 years and have had the pleasure of leading the Modern Foreign Language Department at Trentham for the past 10 years. Language learning and the ability to communicate with others has always been a passion of mine. The transferable skills acquired when studying a foreign language are invaluable for our students as well as the increased level of cultural intelligence that can be gained.

I am also particularly interested in the transition process from primary to secondary education, supporting students emotionally, whilst ensuring that they are able to achieve the best possible outcomes.  I am excited for my transition role, working alongside other amazing staff and students in order to further develop initiatives and ideas, which will help and support our young people.
