Preferences & Pathways

Welcome from Mrs Wagg, Deputy Headteacher

In February, parents/carers will receive a letter detailing the preference choices your child needs to make. We have recorded a series of subject information videos to support these decisions and have also included the subject information sheets that are also shared with the students on Firefly.

Key Dates 2024

2nd February: Students attend Preferences Assembly; students begin to read curriculum pages on the website and discuss preferences at home

20th February: Progress reports issued to Year 8

22nd February: Year 8 Subject Parents’ Evening (please prioritise subjects your child might study at GCSE)

28th February: Complete initial preference indications using Options Online

1st March: March Final subject lists confirmed​

7th March: Preference Evening and Form Tutor Appointments

18th March: Final deadline for submitting preference choice via Options Online
