School Games

School Games is a National program delivered locally, to ensure more children have the opportunity to enjoy competing and achieving their personal best.

Trentham Academy host the School Games Organiser for South Stoke and the Barclays Girls Football School Partnership strategic lead, and as such the students at the Academy have many opportunities to assist with the running of primary, secondary and special school events as Sports Leaders.

Pupils in year 10 have the opportunity to assist at local primary schools after school clubs as sports leaders. Those students who volunteer over a prolonged period of time are invited to the City sports leaders and volunteering presentation evening at Stoke City FC.
