Rewards

Here at Trentham, we love to recognise the efforts of our students and recognise and reward this over the course of the year. Rewards can be gained regularly throughout the day, and here are the varying reasons why these would be awarded:

Each day students can easily achieve 6 ClassCharts points by arriving to school on time, wearing the correct uniform and having the correct equipment with them, and it does not stop there! We are committed to acknowledging the efforts that students put in both academically with Aspire, Endeavour, Achieve and Star of the Week points, but also socially and emotionally by using their manners, putting in great effort even when they find something challenging, and being helpful to peers and staff.

By earning points, students can then claim rewards when they reach set benchmarks:

In addition to this, there are 6 assemblies throughout the year that are dedicated solely to recognising our students for in- and out-of-the-classroom success. This is where we ask parents to share with Form Tutors and Progress Leaders any further information that you think should be recognised and celebrated. Please take the time to share your child’s successes with us:

Exceptional academic and sporting achievements alongside effort and progress are also celebrated at our annual Awards Evening, or even with surprise events along the way, such as a Young Drivers experience.

Many of our students also qualify throughput the year to take part in our Rewards Trips and activity days which have included days out to the Trafford Centre or days in where students have participated in a range of events such as escape rooms, crazy golf, laser tag, team building games, climbing wall experiences or go-karting and Total Wipeout.

And just sometimes, it is nice to receive a treat just because…

Students with positive A2L will be rewarded - rewards include meeting with the Progress Leader/Headteacher/CEO of the CLT, special star ties and invitation to rewards trips and activities."
