I have a deep-rooted love for science, which is why I chose to be a Chemistry teacher. I joined Trentham Academy in 2015, and in 2018 I took on the exciting challenge of Head of Science; this has given me the privileged opportunity to lead a highly successful, city-leading department. My passion for teaching and learning has fuelled my commitment to fostering a stimulating and supportive environment where students aspire to endeavour and achieve. In addition to my role as Head of Science, I also lead on Transition, recognising the importance of a smooth transition from primary to secondary education is crucial to success, both academically and socially. These experiences have allowed me, and continue to allow me, to witness the growth and development of countless students, who have gone on to achieve great things. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to work with such fantastic pupils and staff, in a wonderful Academy.
