I have worked at Trentham Academy for the past 23 years and have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside the staff and students. I care about the students at Trentham Academy as much as I care about my own daughters and I treat the children as I treat my own. I am incredibly proud to now hold the role of Vice Principal with specific responsibility for Special Educational Needs, Safeguarding, Inclusion, Attendance and Behaviour, working alongside other senior leaders. Our students inspire me daily and I am passionate about building students’ resilience and perseverance; like the proverb says, ‘fall seven times, stand up eight.’

I believe a safe, caring, supportive and happy environment allows students to achieve their best, ensuring they meet their goals and aspirations. I am excited for what the future holds at Trentham Academy and will work tirelessly to ensure our students meet their goals academically, socially and emotionally in preparation for their post 16 learning journey.
