I have been a teacher of mathematics since 2006, and joined Trentham Academy, as a middle leader in 2011. I have had the pleasure of leading our very successful Mathematics and Statistics department since September 2018.

Mathematics has always been a joy for me, and seeing students being able to apply logic to solve problems, makes teaching maths my vocation. I also have a love of data, allowing students to apply maths and stats to real world information, linking to many future careers – I’m a proud data geek.

Watching students grow in Trentham’s culture of positivity, and seeing their love of learning, is inspiring for both the academy’s and our students’ future, and I look forward to seeing this develop even further.
