After leading the English department, I am now in a very privileged position to be able to lead teaching and learning across the whole Academy. I am inspired by the talent and creativity of our students and I’m passionate about ensuring that every student realises their full potential.

I love learning! After 13 years in the classroom, I still love the excitement that teaching brings and I work hard to find creative ways to spark students’ interests.  There is nothing better than seeing students engaged in their learning and subsequently achieving more than they thought was possible.
