I have taught at Trentham Academy for over 20 years and have had the pleasure to be part of its developmental journey and growth to the fantastic school that we are today. I am proud to work with such a wonderful group of students and staff who work tirelessly to achieve the best outcomes possible.

As a pastoral leader I am passionate about supporting students to recognize their strengths and reach for their dreams; to reflect on their whole self and the decisions they make; and to understand how to strive for themselves whilst not forgetting the importance of community and humility. And as a Senior Leader my beliefs and values about widening students’ opportunities and experiences sit at the heart of my responsibilities that include working with the Character and Arts Foundation, overseeing our Extra-Curricular and Enrichment Curriculum and Personal Development. This is especially important for the newest members of our academy each year as to allow for a smooth transition from primary to secondary education. By leading on Transition as well, this allows us to build on the experiences available to them which are crucial to success, both academically and socially.
