Prior to teaching, I had a successful and enjoyable career in retail management but I will always wish I had been a teacher sooner. My journey at Trentham began in the science department and I later became Lead Practitioner for Teaching and Learning, with a focus on new staff. I joined the senior team as an Assistant Headteacher and then as Deputy Headteacher, responsible for Curriculum and Assessment, before assuming the role of Head of Academy, overseeing the day to day operation at Trentham.
I am excited to take on the role of Principal from September 2025. I have worked at Trentham for 15 years and have been a part of the academy’s amazing journey in recent years as part of the senior team. Our shared vision and values will ensure a smooth transition and I will continue to work tirelessly for the very best outcomes for our students.
