My background is in education; having spent the past 20 years working in Staffordshire primary schools as a Teacher, Deputy Headteacher and for the last 6 years, a Headteacher. In 2015, I was delighted to become a specialist leader of education, and have since supported a number of schools in teaching and learning and leadership and management via school to school support.
On a personal note, my husband attended the school and my son is currently in Year 9. I am keen to get involved with all aspects of school life and I am a member of the PTFA (TALENT).
I am passionate about all children having dreams and ambitions for themselves; having opportunities to be the best that they can be. I feel very lucky to be part of the team of Governors at Trentham Academy and look forward to supporting the leadership in the next stages of the journey.
