My name is Andrew Murfin and I have lived in Trentham for the past 17 years. My daughter is currently Head Girl at the academy.
I have worked for the local authority for the past 32 years, specialising in leisure, therefore I have a wealth of experience in this sector. I have knowledge of, but not limited to, budgetary control, human resources, procurement, health and safety and marketing. I am also a freelance medical tutor. My aim as a Governor is to offer my support and guidance, fostering the relationship between the academy and the local community whilst enabling the students with leisure opportunities at Trentham Academy. I am keen to see all of the sporting facilities that Trentham Academy own being used to their full potential by students and the local community.
When I am not at work, I am a keen golfer at Stone Golf Club.
